Header Pharmaceutical Development Strategy

This academic paper gives an account of current situation of BaoTou pharmaceutical Factory of Traditional Chinese Drug (BPFTCD) and takes an all-round review of pharmaceutical factories of traditional Chinese drug in China. Based on the analysis of international circumstances, it points out that though foreign countries are having the lead of chemical medicines, the variations of human diseases and the changes in people's senses of health. What's more, such medicines made of two or more ingredients have an outstanding advantage in competition. Based on the analysis of domestic situation, it indicates that because of the increasing market expansion of Chinese patent drug, the rise of the market centralization degree and the support of state policies, traditional Chinese drug has its own distinctive superiorities, especially after china's entry to the WTO. All above-mentioned viewpoints prove that traditional Chinese drug industry is facing its golden developing period. This paper carries out a SWOT analysis to BPFTCD's competitive capacity in connection with its given background. Then it puts out a stragegic developing goal for the coming 5 years to this factory and submits concrete strategic measures on marketing, finance, production, R&D, human resource and development of enterprise culture.
