On The Sustainable Development Of China Railway Transportation

A Objective Nowadays, sustainable development is the core of social development studied by every country all over the world. And transportation is the fundamental industry,which needs developing ahead of whole economy's development. Thus, sustainable development in China lodges a great challenge to Chinese transportation. As the most important basic facility in China, railway has been playing an important role in such aspects as the exploitation of land, the development of regional economy, the increasing of the level of the national economy and the integration of regional markets. With Chinese economy stepping on the road of sustainable development, railway becomes more and more important. The industry of railway is analyzed respectively at the micro level and the macro level. Focused on the system reform, the logistics, and the exploitation of the west and the building of high-speed railways.
