Since the emergence of the concept of Supply Chain Management, it has not been long before great achievements in varies kinds of related theories have been acquired.Meanwhile, the application of supply chain management has proved successful in many enterprises, featuring corporation groups practicing supply chain management, with P&G and Dell as two paradigms. The example of the supply chain with Siemens as the core driving element is elaborated in the thesis. There comes into existence a mutually supporting relationship between the development of the theories and practice in the supply chain management research. Focusing on the phenomenon of increasing establishment of supply chains that revolves in the enterprises with the edge of resources or competitiveness, I present in the thesisthe selective model formulation of core enterprise supply chain hierarchically benchmarked on the basis of META path.First of all, I introduce the theory of META Flow Chart capable of describing the inter-corporation relationship in a comparatively comprehensive way, with META path as the alternative supply chain. Second of all, I introduce the optional model of supply chain formulation based on the coordinate benchmarking among the candidate enterprises. The model standardizes all the indicators from the perspective of the core enterprise, hierarchizes all the candidate enterprises in the view of the whole supply chain, and evaluates different weights to the same indicators in the enterprises at different levels. It consequently changes the traditional practice that same weights are evaluated to the same indicators in the enterprises at different levels and further rationalizes the evaluation to the supply chain indicators.
