Transportation In China The System Of Statistical Indicators Of The Establishment And Analysis

The principal contribution of this paper is to combine the statistic of the transportation industry with the national economy, which reflects the situation of this field systematically. The content of this paper consists of five parts while the principal parts are from chapter 2 to chapter 5.Chapter 1 introduces the character , scope and content of the transportation industry, it also illustrates the present situation and shortage of the statistic of our national transportation industry. On the base of the main transportation index in America, we demonstrate the motive, principle and thought which should be built in our national transportation.Chapter 2 states the whole scale of our national transportation industry in the form of static and evaluates the whole industry from the configuration, conveyance and the level of the transportation organization. In order to combine it with the national economy, we also discuss the check method of increasing value in this field.Chapter 3 illustrates the developing situation of our national transportation industry in the form of dynamic, mainly on the points of such as the calculation method of developing rate, statistic of developing trends and cycle and statistic of sustainable developing. In order to predict the situation, we introduced the linear and curve regression, and analyze the factors that affect the development of transportation industry with solow model, illustrating the transition from labor density to capital density. It demonstrates that the development of transportation is promoted by the improvement of vehicle. As to the developing cycle, we pick-up the procession index which can predict the transportation situation as well as the lagged index which can judge the beginning and the finish of expansion and depression. In the part of sustainable development, we describe the statistic index of transportation, which influence the environment and energy.Chapter 4 we describe the transportation industry in the point of investment which is the bridge between the chapter 2 and chapter 3. In order to analyze the investment situation, we introduced the index such as the ratio of investment to output, the structure of investment and the statistic of investment scale. Through the analysis on the ratio of investment to output, we found that highway transportation obtained great strength from the development of market economy, which demonstrates the transition from strong to feeble, while the railway transportation did on the opposite direction.Chapter 5 we discussed the relationship between the transportation industry and other industries. With the table of investment and output, we weighed the significance that the transportation industry contributed to thenational economy and the employment.
