Industry's international competitiveness as the key competitiveness has a direct effect on one country's safety and development of economy. Presently there is still a great gap in our country's Industrial Competitiveness with the most of developed countries. Our research on it is only a beginning and even blank in many aspects. For the wide connotation, this article focuses on little which is about the new exploration of index system and evaluation method in international competitiveness; so this article just analyses the advantages and disadvantages of Industry's international competitiveness in China with balance sheet and input output analysis connected with evaluation of Industry's international competitiveness, and then goes on with initiative calculation for the pursuit of promotion in this field. There are three parts in this article.I Birth and development of competitiveness theory. In the second section of this part, it presently Porter's theory and our country's research status of competitiveness comprehensively. In the third, it defines the Industry's international competitiveness, which is, under condition of free trade, the greater capacity and efficiency compared with countries that will supply more products for the international market and the continuous profitability.II Our country evaluation system of Industry's international competitiveness. Based on Porter's competitiveness theory and using IMD evaluation system of international competitiveness for reference, it includes Industry's environmental, factor's, potential and extranet competitiveness, all of which are also classified into ten secondary categories and then it orders the 49 countries.III Comprehensive evaluation of our country's Industries. The fist part is international compare of industry's competitiveness. The second part is about our country's advantage and disadvantage in Industry's international competitiveness with balance sheet in accounting. It then conducts imitative calculation dynamicallyand gets policy suggestion for the improvement. The last part is analysis of the relationship between Industry's structural competitiveness and economic growth in our country. It just disintegrates the economic growth, reveals Industrial competitiveness' contributions to the growth, evaluates the actual changes and contributions to Industrial growth in the changes of demand, technology, investment and import/export from the seven Industries and gets the better positive conclusion.
