We can improve Human's welfare to the greatest extent if we can utilize the scare resource efficiently. It is the object we go in for and also the purpose economists dangle after. Economic growth and income distribution are the ways and means for that purpose. Economic growth ensures the Human's welfare in a whole and efficient way, and income distribution ensures the Human's welfare in an individual and fair way. Therefore, the relationship between economic growth and income distribution becomes an important thesis the economists are studying for a long time. That means, in order to keep an economy rising, distributing production and raising the rate of economic growth become the most important thesis in economic theory.Nowadays, the situation of income distribution in this country goes worse. The problem is what the change about economic growth is. In the interest of it, we make use of China's regional data to study the relation of economic growth and income distribution, and analyze the effect of China's regional gap factors. The paper consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, we introduce the academic connection and the empirical hypothesis. We find out a basal frame of reference to establish a premise of our study: the Kuznets's hypothesis. In the second chapter, we use China's regional data to validate the famous Kuznet's hypothesis. And more over, we study the income distribution's influence on the rate of economic growth and try to constitute the empirical connection of regional gap and economic growth rate.In the third chapter, we explain the leading factors which render the regional gap to get large. But, can these factors explain the change of economic growth rate? Do they have the support of empirical data? We use the regional date to analyze these questions. In the fourth chapter, we make some policy suggestions to speed the economic growth for this country.
