Strategy alliance is an innovation of enterprise's organization since 1990's. It is an attempt in the improvement of resource collocation. Strategy alliances enlarge the scope of the resource that can be managed by the enterprises. So it help the production possibility curve move right, through which the company can improve the efficiency of the use of the resource. What's more, Strategy alliance is the third way to get the scale economy. Different from the M&A and self-accumulation, Strategy alliance is developing faster by sharing all the enterprises' resources. At the same time, Strategy alliances turn to be an useful instrument of entering a new market and encouragement of innovation. In addition, Strategy alliances economize transaction cost, solve the asymmetry of information, and accomplish the advantage of cost. So Strategy alliance is epoch making.We focus on the strategy alliances between the international airlines. We just try to explain what are the characteristics of the airlines' alliances. The aviation transportation is a special field with obvious characteristic. Since 1997, the important five airlines'alliances began to play a key role in the international aviation, which monopolize more than 60% of all the business. With the appearance of more and more airlines' alliances, there is less space left for the other airlines. All these changes are helpful to Chinese aviation.We try to analyze the popular model of the alliances between the international airlines, hoping to give some advice to the Chinese aviation.
