Theoretical Research And Empirical Analysis Of Enterprises' Technological Innovation Ability

Technological innovation plays such a critical role to achieve radical transition of economic growth pattern that analyzing and appraising the technological innovation capability timely and effectively, which seldom has been done deeply and scientifically, can help an enterprise to formulate effective technological innovation strategies and improve its competence. Mainly adopting quantitative and qualitative method and putting the theory into practice, the paper focuses on the study of the analysis and appraisal of an enterprise's technological innovation capability in order to give it guidelines on technological innovation.At the beginning, the development and current situation of technological innovation theories is summarized and the definition and the characteristics of technological innovation is also involved. In the paper, the author puts forward the index system and explains the basis for choosing the indexes. Then, the paper analyzes and appraises the technological innovation capability from two aspects: one is about the enterprise itself. By the qualitative and quantitative analysis and weak index multiples to evaluate the enterprise's technological innovation capability, the main factors that influence it can be found out. The other is about technological innovation capability comparison between competitors. By AHP(analytic hierarchy process), fuzzy evaluation and gray theory to evaluate the technological innovation capability, the strength or weakness of technological innovation capability can be measured. It is beneficial for an enterprise to formulate technological innovation strategies, improve the technological innovation capability and gain a certain competitive edge. Finally, using the above theories and the relevant date, combining with the 20 enterprises practices in Beijing and Shanghai, the paper make a preliminary analysis and appraisal on their technological innovation capabilities.Technological innovation is more important for the high-tech enterprises than other ones due to their own characteristics. The basic theory of high-tech enterprises' technological innovation is discussed in the paper and author put forwards some suggestions on how to improve the technological innovation capabilities.
