The aim of the thesis is to recognize the meaning of railway acceleration and evaluate the social benefit of it scientifically,this is of very importance to further the speed accerleration of railway well,and promote sustainable development of the national economy and communication and transportation. For the purpose.the research method which the thesis adopt includes the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, deduction and generalization, comparative analysis, the combination of theoretical research and demonstration research etc.The thesis includes three partes in order to accomplish theory analysis and demonstration deduction.First of all, the thesis generalize highly the investigation actual of social benefit. The literature indicates that on definiting the conception of social benefit,only Have a approximate definition,short of particular analysis.At the same tirne,the literature touches upon many index that have not followed the basic principia for choosing index. Whereas the literature presents evaluating model,it have, not resolved mutual question that consist in the model, for example, estimate standard and the enactment of threshold. Several question consists in the literature is, just about,that the thesis will solve.In the next place, comparing each appraisable method,and combining the practical instance of railway acceleration, the thesis finally selects fuzzy synthesis evaluating method that could be much more compatible.Besides on the basis of inheriting the outcome of former research ,the thesis mainly study and summarize a mistiness system.make it the basic mind and method.In the end, this thesis accomplish the social benefit estimation of the speed acceleration of railway, by using the basic mind and method of mistiness system .The speed accerleration of railway that the thesis have mentioned are the four big accerlerations the railway station have made during 1997and 2001. On the basis of analyze the exhibition of social benefit wholly.Select estimate index,establish index system according to the arrangement among the index. As a result of the lack of data, both comment of indexe and data for relative weightiness of indexes root in Delphi method.
