During the few past years, small-medium private enterprises had made a rapid progress in China, they have benefited a lot to the economic development and stability of society. At the same time, they were facing a lot of serious problems in fierce market competition, especially in human resource management.It is generally believed that the human resource management is one of complicated variables, it is a key factor to the enterprises' goal of development; and performance management is the core of modern human resource management. The best way to carry out performance management is to build a set of effective performance evaluation system, which is an important basis to human resource decision and runs through the whole human resource management of enterprise, including recruiting, training, payment, promotion and employee's development. As a modern management means, an effective performance evaluation system can help enterprise achieve their goals and continuous development.Based on the above analyses, in this thesis the principle theories of performance evaluation is demonstrated firstly; the performance management conditions of DS CORPORATION are described, analyzed and evaluated secondly; and finally, a new set of performance evaluation system is rebuilt, and its function is examined and evaluated.
