Labor Market Segmentation In China And Its Changes

Labor Market Segmentation(LMS) is not only a general situation in the running of labor market, but also an important and promising area of stu--dying. The article looks back the literature about LMS in and outside, a--nd chooses a rather special view to study the LMS in China.Firstly, on the foundation of bringing about some basic conception, it compare LMS in China with that in other country, containing the cause of becoming and statement of LMS and so on, then it summarizes four char--acteristics of LMS in China.Secondly, it putting emphasis on the changing of LMS caused by instit--ution in China after 1978. It divides the LMS caused by institution in C--hina into four stages according the segmentation characteristics. It also points that it's the working together of industry organization, kukou insti--tutional arrangements, sustaining structure, insurance system that caused LMS in China and its changing.It also trys to analyses negative affection in Chinese employment prob--lem caused by LMS in China.
