Study, Based On The Export Competitiveness Of The Industry Trade Patterns

It is since the 1970s that the theoretical study on intra-industry trade had begun. However, through 30 years' systemic research, economists have not yet achieved a uniform cognition about intra-industry trade. China is a big developing country with a large quantity of trade, so there's much theoretical and practical significance to develop the study of intra-industry in China.The work is done with the combination of theoretical study and practical demonstration. The paper first reviews the existing literature on intra-industry trade, and then points out that the defect lies in their neglect and misinterpretation to the radical cause of intra-industry trade. The author thinks that though it has its particularity, as a trading mode, intra-industry trade still has a radical cause: chasing the trade interests. So in chapter 2, the paper corrects and perfects the Theory of Comparative Advantage, and then puts forward the Theory of Export Competitive Advantage which can better explain the radical cause of trade. In chapter 3, based on the Theory of Export Competitive Advantage, the paper first constructs 2 new models of intra-industry trade which explain the intra-industry trade between the developed countries and that between the developed countries and developing countries, and then analyses the influencing factors of the new intra-industry trade models. Chapter 4 is the demonstrating section in which the paper first experientially validates the influencing factors of the new intra-industry trade models, and then combined with the new intra-industry trade models the paper gives a good interpretation of the status of intra-industry trade in China, finally the paper forecasts the developing trend of intra-industry trade in China. In chapter 5, which is the last section, the paper concludes its contributions and deficiencies.
