The conception of Deng Xiao Ping's "one country, two systems", which is regarded as an established policy to accomplish the national reunification, has been succeed in solving the problems of Hong Kong and Macao, and would also ultimately help to solve the problem of Taiwan. After raising the basic content of "one country, two systems" about Taiwan's affairs, Taiwan authorities gave different reactions in each historical period. This text studied on Taiwan authorities in three periods reacting to "one country, two systems" , found out the reason which produces these responses and ferreted out the essence that the Taiwan authorities moving towards "independence of Taiwan" step by step deeply.According to the current situations of the cross-Straits relations, this text uses the method of synthesizing to carry to the rational inference to the settlement of the Taiwan issue, and put forward some countermeasures with realistic significance from the different aspects, such as politics, economy, culture, military, diplomacy, etc.
