Study On Trend Of "Taiwan Culture Independence" Thoughts From The Middle Of 1990s

"Culture Independence" is a trend of culture separatism serving for the political purpose of "Taiwan Independence", which is born from "Taiwan Ideology" that rooted on culture "localization" in Taiwan island in early period. By the mid and later period of 1990s', the Taiwan authorities have been promoting "Taiwan Independence" on the way of "incremental Taiwan Independence". One of the main methods they are using, is by denying the identity of Taiwanese with Chinese, by denying the Taiwan nationalities as components of Chinese nationalities, by denying modern history of China and Taiwan. In education fields, it mainly appears to reconstruct textbooks, teaching languages and outdoor teaching infrastructures. In culture fields, to setup museums for "Taiwan Independence" and to promote movements of "localized culture". In news and media fields, to support "localized" publication, broadcasting and websites. In religion fields, to separate motherland with "Tibetan Independence" and Falonggong evil organization. In literature and art fields, is to beautify "imperial subject" culture, to develop "literature independence".Cuture Identity is the root of nationality identity and nation identity. "Culture Independence" is just to destroy such root to reach the purpose of separatism. Once the opnion of " culture independence " become a part of sense of students, as they grow up, the social base of separatism would be enlarged. Once the "Chinese Sense " were replace by "localization sense " or "Taiwan sense", it would produce a special social psychology among Taiwanese and be harm to unite peacefully. And what's worse, once the identity of nation and nationality were changed along with the de-identity of culture, even if two sides were united in the future, it still needs long time to remove the negative effects.According to the theory of historical materialism, we draw the conclusion that "culture independence " is a reactive political trend in ideology fields, which is to stop the unification of China by the international anti-communism and anti-China strength, by means of supporting political leader of pro-Us and pro-Japan and anti-CCP, taking advantage of long time existed south-north structural difference conflicts, denying culture , nation and nationality identity. It mainly serves for the ultimate purpose of separating China , just as "Tibetan Independence" and "Sinkiang Independence". Only under the direction of thought of "Three Representation", by tightly holding the leadership of socialism culture, starting from the benefit of two sides, enlarging and deepening culture and economy exchange and cooperation, can we destroy thoroughly the conspiracy of "culture independence".
