Group Of Eight Research

It is of great importance to enhance the study of Group of Eight(G8), for it is playing an active role in international arena today. G7/G8 was founded 30years ago with complicated background, and gradually it has evolved into a loose and huge system. It regulates areas including world economy, politics, and culture and has brought about different influence. As a forum, G8 has marked characteristics over other international actors and maintains influence on many international organizations. Meanwhile G8 is a new form of western alliance, it might regulate and weaken contradictions and conflicts within the western world, but it has serious flaws and needs to be modified.
