Now great challenge were facing by China Post's EMS. First, with many private express companies entering the market of express, the monopoly of express is turning into a non-monopoly,freedom competition EMS market . The competition of EMS Market is more serious. On the second hand, most of the international express companies look upon with the Chinese market, especially after China's entry into WTO. They have raised their emphasis of enlarge Chinese Express market so that China Post's EMS occupy in international express were reduced more and more. On the another hand, with the rapid development of IT and E-commerce , the growth rate of traditional express is declining. This article mainly introduced the development strategy of the future EMS based on the analysis of the EMS's core competence.The article may be divided into four parts.Part one introduces the company's core competence and its symbols, and recites the development journey of EMS .Part two is analysis about the current situation of EMS. analyzed the problems about EMS extern circumstance ,disclosed the competition frame ,analyzed the main tendency of China Post express competition market.Part three gives statement about Post SWOT . Further valued the core competence of EMS.Part four which based on part one and part two, use the theory and the method provided by SWOT rectangle gives a choice and analysis about the strategy of training EMS' core competence.
