Employment Needs. The Sunan New Industrialized Context Of Research

The settlement of the employment problem concerns the improvement of living standards of the people and long-term stability of the country directly, and it is one of the present goals of macroscopical regulation and control in our country too. Taking the new-type industrialized road has been proposed among the 16th National Congress report, which is not only a result of industrialized development of our country, but also the inevitable requirement of our country economy that wants to realize great- leap-forward development. But walking the new-type industrialized road which is promoted by informationization and insists the leading of science and technology, may bring heavier pressure on employment. So it needs guide of the correct policy, which on one hand will promote the development of new-type industrialization, on the other hand can solve the difficult problem of employment.This text regarded the area of southern Jiangsu as the concrete research object. The area had already entered later stage of industrialization at the end of the 1990s, where economy developed lastingly and industrial structure promoted in recent years. So this area has already shown new-type industrialized characteristic preliminarily and possessed new-type industrialized embryonic form. Through studying the relation between sustainable economic development, industrial structure change and demand for employment in the course of new-type industrialization in the area of southern Jiangsu, the author will discover the difficult problem of employment under the new-type industrialized background, and look for the breach which can expand the demand for employment, and offer the suggestion of expanding employment demand. At last new-type industrialized road can alleviate the pressure on employment, solve the employment problem too while promoting economic development fast.
