For his partial evalution of farming , shang yang developde the farming only by sucrificing commerce with the underlying idea of "concentrating on farming while forbidding comenercial activities. "Another branch in the school , the brunch of guanzi advocated"interest and desire" theory. While most members from the group noticed the association between farming and industrial-commercial activities and therefore advocated the development of latter, some representatives proposed strengthening farming while forbidding other activities " .Han Fei-Tzu advocated accomplishing the endeavour of unification through developing both farming an military forces.
