After China's WTO entry, Chinese government had broadened the scope of application for the registration system of individual import and export rights progressively. More and more small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises have been registered. Most city and county government owned foreign companies also are joining this group, after their shareholding system reform. Therefore, the team of our small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises is growing stronger, and competition is getting even fiercer. In this case, it is very essential for these foreign trading companies to choose suitable developing strategy, to enhance their market competitive power, and to find their right position in the world market. This thesis is to put forwarder that small and medium foreign trading companies are supposed to choose product specialization strategy, so that to raise their core competition power. This might set up the foundation of companies' future development. This thesis analyzed the case of Ever-Glory Corp. in order to share its successful experience with other small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises.
