Urbanization is an significant sign for the human progress ,is the inexorable trend for one country′s economic society development. It is an impassable historical stage and indispensable composition. It deeply feedback the course of history of the Communist Party of China enhancing our urbanization′s development, especially after the period of the reform and opening. It systematic conclude the historical experience of our party trying to find out that development, and it has momentous thearical and practical significance.To enhance the process of urbanization is the only way to make Chinese great revival come ture in 21 century, and is the historical task which the Communist Party of China has to accept. After the reform and opening, our country′s practice about urbanization is in the period of durating the longest time, having the relatively stable speed and the structure being reaching reasonable and science step by step in history. Communist Party of China hard explore the development progress of urbanization during this time, which is the most important factor to quicken urbanization′s speed.This article has three parts to research Communist Party of China′s policy and practice about urbanization. After the reform and opening. The first part discusses the policy and history process and main features, and to discuss from two aspects, one is the economic support of our party giving impetus to the urbanization development, The other is to amplify the system frame. The second part discusses the main achievement and some problems. The third part raise a guiding ideology about how to enhance our urbanization′s continued development capacity at the historical level in the new century and new stage.
