With the introduction of logistics conception, the trade of logistics growed rapidly in China. As more and more logistics corporation registered in the Chinese market, the Shipping Corporations also took part in logistics business actively. Based on the feature of Shipping Corporations, the dissertations compared several logistics corporations and expounded the advice to enhance the ability of Shipping Corporations' logistics business.The first part of the dissertation puts forward the question of Shipping Corporation took part in logistics business, and point out the meaning and purpose of the research. The dissertation also gave the way to study the question.The second part of the dissertation expounds the situation of Chinese logistics business, and the situation of Shipping Corporations' logistics business.The third part of the dissertation analyses the necessity and feasibility of Shipping Corporations' logistics business. The dissertation also summarizes the importance of Shipping Corporations' logistics business.The fourth and fifth parts of the dissertation expound the index analysis which represent the situation of the logistics corporations. Then bases on the data of some logistics corporations the dissertation compares them and obtains the layers that they belong to.The last part of the dissertation base on the result of hierarchical cluster analysis that use in the corporation the dissertation chooses.The research of the dissertation is based on the data, so the dissertation is something scientific and objective. The objective of the dissertation was to explore a scientific and feasible evaluation method for to evaluate the Shipping Corporations' logistics business.
