Shandong Province Regional Income Inequality Changes

There are lot of disparities among regions and climate of east and west in Shandong province in history and which have led to deep differences comprehensively in so many aspects. Based on the mathematic statistics, this paper consults the process of variation of disparities over 25 years from 1978 to 2002, and tries to reveal the rule of variation and the mechanisms basing on the rules of regional disparities. At the end, this paper puts forward some strategic direction and specific measures in the angle of residential income on how to develop economy and coordinate regional disparities efficaciously in order to improve the level of living.This paper is divided into 5 parts.Part I Introducing some basic concepts and some analytic methods of residential income distribution, and showing some rules and mechanism relevant to them about income disparities. The goal is to definite the complicated statistic methods and grasp the technical route.Part II Anglicizing regional disparities in rural area. This part being divided 4 segments analyses disparities from different aspects, which include per sheer income, economic sources, rural economic structure and relative variation among specific regions.Part III Revealing the position of variation about town residential income chiefly.Part IV Studying the variation of regional disparities between town and rural residential income. This part of analysis synthesizes double mechanisms of disparities, so it anglicizes them comprehensively in order to reveal the reasons being independence of respective town and rural systems.Part V Putting forward measures about how to improve the quantity of income, foster the development of regions and coordinate the regional disparities from macroscopic and microscopic aspects, such as countrywide policies, urban and rural systems, transferring of surplus rural labors, family and family numbers, and so on.Rules revealed in the whole paper following: disparity of rural residential income tends to shrink after the phrase of decreasing and vibration largely relatively; The tendency is contrary in town, but the scope of vibration is small comparing; The disparity between town and rural residential income is being expanded in recent years after short time of shrinking and long time of stationary. Regional disparities among east regions live up to the economic development rules basically, but them in west regions measures up to rules not well, evenly it transgresses them to some extent.
