The constitutional protection of citizen's property rights is an extremely important system which is implanted in the legal culture of western society. China has already entered WTO in the 21st century and with the fast development of market economy and human rights, it has become a big problem.This thesis falls into five parts and tries to make a systematic research on the constitutional protection of citizen's property rights by applying the study approaches of the comparative constitution and historical analyses The first part proposes the study subject and its significance. The second part explores the theory origin of the citizen's property rights and points out that its nature is a human rights. Meanwhile this part analyses the necessity of its perfection. The third part studies the citizen proprietary defects and its main reason based on China reality. The fourth and fifth part explore the different theories and practices of Germany and American vertically .In these two parts, the thesis also discusses separately how to perfect the constitutional protection of citizen's property rights of China in comparison with Germany and American. In conclusion, the thesis demonstrates that the constitutional order of our country should be constructed by keeping the balance between the citizen's property rights and public benefits and by learning critically from the rich constitutional experience of the west.
