The competition in construction industry has become fiercer and fiercer. The business governors have found the importance of the projects' successful implement; the project is a basic unit to achieve profit and development. The problem how to mastery more projects information and transfer them into the knowledge, so as to efficiently fulfill every project, has become a very urgent project which the domestic construction companies are facing.The rising data warehouse and data mining technology can find some unknown and valuable knowledge from large amount of project management data. It undoubtedly provides construction business with powerful support. On the basis of formers' research, this thesis combined mature data mining technology and project management theory to build analytical cost management system. At the same time, this thesis did some groping attempt on the application of data mining in municipal projects' cost management, and tried to build some applied models which included association model, risk assessment model and decision tree modes. In addition, the writer has applied these models into cost analyze to do some primary demonstration research.This thesis's main innovation include as following:(1) Introduce the data mining technology into the optimized analysis of domestic municipal projects' cost management, emphasize on the application of basic cost element analyze to support strategy cost management.(2) Research the problem of the project cost management data mart establishment.(3) Complementarily bring forward the optimized cost management model which is based on other scholars' research(4) According to the requirement of strategy cost management, build analytical project cost management system to provide support for the project decision and optimized cost decision.
