Russian Land Privatization

Privatization of land is the focus of land system reform and the essential part of economic transition in Russia. Russia adopted the special ways in land reform, which were completely different from China's, also achieved different goals. The article studies the privatization of land in light of the Russia's macroeconomic conditions on the basis of theory of property right, and analyzes the process of Russia's land reform. The article points out the prospect of Russia's land reform according to the analysis of achievements and failure Russia has experienced. In addition, the article also briefly compares Russia's land reform with China's and Germany's and gives a general description of China's and Germany's land system.
