On Consolidation And The Development Of The Chinese Communist Party Legitimacy

Legitimacy has been one of the hot points in the international research field in the recent decades because of its wide-range content. In our country, kinds of problems which appear in the developing period of the society are affecting the legitimacy of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the problems raises new requires of strengthening and developing the legitimacy of CPC in the new situation. Seeing that the obtaining and strengthening of legitimacy is a period, if we analyze the period from leading the new-democratic revolution to socialist construction since the foundation of CPC, we can explore the particular placement and emphases of the legitimacy of CPC in each particular phase. The certainty of the emphases of the legitimacy of CPC in the period has important leading meaning that can help CPC strengthen and develop the legitimacy in nowadays. This thesis hopes to explore the fulcrums and measures to strengthen and develop the legitimacy of CPC by reviewing and analyzing the history of CPC and abstracting the methodology about strengthening and developing the legitimacy of CPC.
