Ppjy Company Supply Chain Performance Evaluation

Now, supply chain is quoted by more and more people and companies. These people and companies agree on one thing that supply chain is the most important part of the operation system in a company. How does supply chain work? How does supply chain work well? An effective performance measurement system is necessary. Many researches have indicated that an excellent operation performance is highly related with an advanced research and application of performance measurement. Based on this opinion, we propose to establish an evaluation system in PPJY (a packaging company) and expect to enhance it as a standard in future. This paper has nine chapters. The first chapter is preface. In this part, we will discuss the significance of performance measurement and its status quo. And then, we will put forward some investigate hypothesis and contents of performance measurement system. The second chapter is an introduction about PPJY. This chapter will introduce the background, operation, management, supply chain of this company and others. The following four chapters will introduce a theory background and put forward some relevant indexes in performance measurement. We will establish a framework of principle firstly and give some indexes from three aspects: material flow, cash flow (value flow) and information flow. Furthermore, we make a quantitative evaluation and analysis on performance with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The seventh chapter is performance measurement. We will calculate the score of PPJY's supply chain with its data and some information. We will give some suggestion in the eighth chapter. Some suggestion will be discussed after shortcomings and faults were founded. The last chapter is summary. In our opinions, supply chain performance measurement should not only be used in one company or one field, but also be used in all kinds of fields. Our supreme aim is to enhance measurement system and spread it.
