In the 80 's of the 20th century, the problem of farming pollution had been gradually serious due to the rapid growth of population and economy development. The vegetable soil had been polluted by waste air, water and soil from industry, as well as the farming materials such as chemicals, pesticides, farming membrane, preparation of biochemistry, etc, and the poor fertilization with rural garbage and the excrement. All those not only result in the decrease of land quality, but also cause the vegetable quantity descend directly.Though some fruitful work have been done in the related realm in Taizhou, Zhejiang, namely, regionalization of preserve for safe vegetable production, standard establishment, base construction, implementation of famous brand strategy, the green vegetable product attestation, a lot of problems have been existed in the production of safe vegetables. The pollution from excrement, aquiculture, farming, daily life and industry, etc, wrong uses of fertilizer and pesticides, have caused a series of rural ecological problems, to affect the rapid development of safe vegetable from both the extend and depth in Taizhou in short time. The organizing of vegetable production is so poor that the safe vegetables can't be guaranteed to realize the unified techniques, specification, and good quality. The checking system can't play an expectable role. The occupation making of vegetable production and management are too low to make proper uses of fertilizer and pesticides. Misapplication, abuse and the unreasonable usage of agrochemical are more widespread, because of the ignorance to the regulation such as "The regulation of agrochemical management", "The reasonable usage of agrochemical", lack of knowledge of safe utilization of pesticides and the skill to prevent diseases and pests. A lot of gardeners have no knowledge of legal concept, to use poisonous pesticides for high economic benefits. The officials of the government paid no attention to the supervising of vegetable quality, and a lot of items of agrochemical remains, nitrite, heavy metals, etc., have been omitted, losing the prevention function of guiding production and ensuring the quality of vegetables.The paper will study the approaches for safe vegetables aiming at solving the problems in the safe vegetable production in Taizhou. Firstly, the safe vegetable production will be brought into the ecosystem of agriculture and sustainable development strategy. Secondly, the favorable industry policy for the safe vegetable production would be established. Thirdly, the key techniques and techniques integration for safe vegetables need to be studied. Fourthly, the control and supervision systems should be set up, as well as the ensuring systems. Fifthly, the education degrees of producers and managers of vegetables production ought to be increased through a lot of methods. Sixthly, the safe vegetable production and the sustainable development will be realized through the establishment of harmless vegetable, green vegetable, and organic vegetable markets.
