With the deepening of China's reform and opening up, noticeably after the establishment of socialist market economy system, the problem of Vulnerable Group is increasingly becoming serious. The Vulnerable Group consists of farmers, migrant workers and the unemployed workers, who are forming up into a group of gigantic social force. They are in the vulnerable position in income, social position, rights and interests'safeguard as well as competent capability etc. They are less competent no matter in the labor market but also in social distribution, as a result, they have to live under the poverty line, lacking of confidence with reform and opening up, which hindered the progress of the all-round building of a harmonious social, furthermore, which posed a great challenge to the peace and stability of our country. Various powerful measures have been taken aimed at the poverty and the unemployment; actually, concrete work has been undertaken and lots of difficulties are solved by the government. Despite of all the efforts, the concerns to the ideology of the vulnerable group is far more less. To solve the problem of vulnerable group completely, to get rid of their ideological difference is fundamental. We could help them to have a correct recognitions on the reform and opening up as well as market economy, encouraging them to be self-dependent and removing the incorrect views of their role of vulnerable position. Encourage them to devote to the state's economical development, create their glorious future through their own hardworking. This paper analyzes the current situation of the vulnerable group in China and studies the content, way and approach of ideological and political education, aimed at the vulnerable group, as well as put forward the views of points on solving the ideological and psychological problem of the vulnerable group, with a wish that ideological and political education plays the unique role in solving the problem of the vulnerable group, arousing the concerns of the whole society on the Vulnerable Group, improving their living situation, ultimately, striding forward to a prosperous future together with other people.
