A Logistics Distribution Center Management Information System Development

In the 90s, there is a famous saying: Time is money, quality is life. But as time passing, the saying changed: Information is money, efficiency is life. Therefore from here, we can see that information is very important and it is related to the vital of a company and the development of a country. We also know that it is urgent to develop, apply, popularize and renew MIS. Logistics is a popular and basic industry, which is also one of the more rising in the modern society. Our country has already decided definitely to support and develop logistics. Logistics delivering is the most important key step for logistics. The transaction for the center of logistics delivering are accepting goods, packing, storing, checking, depositing, choosing, wrapping, cataloging, assembling, loading, delivering, collecting the information of demands and forecasting demands, reporting the information, recommending the breeds and quantity of the next procurement.In this thesis, it firstly introduces how to set up MIS of logistics delivering, how to carry out the prophase preparation, the current situation about developing logistics system and the main theory and ways used in the paper. Secondly, the paper summarizes the MIS of logistics delivering, discusses the necessary and feasibility of developing. Furthermore, it analyzes the system population planning, the methods and main used skills, the analysis and design of the population object, the partition of system border, the connection with the external world, and the designing main technical standard. At the same time, the paper analyzes the MIS, organization structure, the main information flows, transaction and flows optimizing and etc. Finally, it proposes some improvement for designing ,optimizing of the MIS of logistics delivering and how to implement the MIS of logistics delivering.
