Company A is a high-tech enterprise that was established by one famous university in Beijing in Jan. 2001. At present, the company is mainly dealing with the business of food additive. The industry of food additive has the characteristics of high added value and high technology. From 2001 to 2004, the business of the company developed sharply. The income increased to nearly RMB 70 million yuan from RMB 10 million yuan in 3 years. This remarkable growth of Company A benefits from the human resource management, in which the staff training plays a very active role.Training is necessary for an enterprise to improve the staff's competencies. Generally training process could be thought as consisting of four key steps: needs analysis, instruction design, implementation and evaluation and follow up. At the first of the paper, the definition and process of the four steps mentioned above are explained.Medium-sized and small enterprises which occupy very important position in China's economy, are playing an important role. The medium-sized and small high-tech enterprises have the remarkable characteristics in HR management system. In chapter two, the current situation and the HR management's status quo and defects existing in the medium-sized and small high-tech enterprises are analyzed.Company A's culture, vision and operation are introduced in chapter three, and its functions of HR management are introduced in general. In chapter four, the main content is training strategy, resource collection and training programs creation. The employee orientation for new employees is discussed as a key training program of company A. At the end of the paper, the enlightenment and management strategies of medium-sized and small high-tech enterprises' staffs training are put forward.In the paper, the theory is combined with the case of Company A. The author tries to provide some references for medium-sized and small high-tech enterprises' training.
