Adapt To The Study Of Domestic Workers, Training Of Migrant Workers And Urban Culture

With the surplus rural labor force emerging and its lasting extensive transforming to urban in our country since the 1990s, peasant worker is gradually becoming the target to whom the academic group pays gradually attention. The study on the peasant worker problem shows that their society adaptability is a key question in a great deal of problems, which mostly has caused the contradiction, such as the conflicts of association, psychology, idea, etc, which are not mostly adapted to the society. It has already been becoming some problems that the whole society must face and solve is how to help peasant worker to adapt urban life and culture.I think the training is an effective way of helping peasant worker to adapt the urban culture. Therefore, the women peasant worker engaged in the housekeeping service are regarded as the research object. I have investigated their urban cultural adaptability states and its influence factors. In order to understand the training's impact on urban cultural adaptability, I have investigated the women peasant worker housekeeping personnel and their urban cultural adaptation state, whom have been trained separately, also investigated the ones that have been not trained yet, and then I have carried on comparative researches for the two categories. In addition, I also regard Beijing Fuping school as the case for my thesis, and have carried on the field investigation to the training situation of peasant worker housekeeping personnel.Through investigating and analyzing, this thesis draws the following main conclusion:Firstly, the urban cultural adaptation level of peasant worker housekeeping personnel is low, and their obvious psychological characteristics are "edge people" psychology, and lack sense of ownership in urban.Secondly, the main influence factor of urban cultural adaptability are working skill, idea, the human communications, it is also an important reason to discriminate against the disequilibrium of supporting sources from the society. The urban cultural adaptable competence is relatively high, in aspects of diet, climate, wearing, standardization language, hygienic habits, consumption habits, traffic culture, etc.Thirdly, the training impact on urban cultural adaptability of the peasant worker housekeeping personnel mainly embodies human communication and psychology. They are inclined to be even more positive to evaluate the urban citizen with higher initiatives and strong will, to be more active to associate with housekeepers, to be less homesick, and to be willing to seek their colleagues for society supports, but they are easier to feel discriminated.Fourthly, the raining can exert a positive influence on the urban cultural adaptability of the peasant worker housekeeping personnel, but this rely on further development and perfects for training.
