Using The Balanced Scorecard Effective Implementation Of The Hotel Business Strategy

In Strategy Management, good strategy needs to be executed efficiently. The quality of execution is as important as the quality of strategy, but some cases show that there is little probability to execute the strategy efficiently.Balanced Scorecard can enhance this probability. Balanced Scorecard is a strategy description of an organization. It can translate the strategy into operation. Balanced Scorecard is applicable to the corporations who depend on brand ., customer service process and human resource to create wealth, so BSC is especially applicable to hospitality industry. And the experience of Hilton has proved that BSC can execute the strategy successfully and efficiently.In this thesis, what I am trying to do is to combine the BSC to hospitality industry of China, to execute the strategy of hospitality industry efficiently.To make this thesis clear, such structure has been made:Introduction: make an introduction of this thesis, including the specialty of this thesis, the preview of this thesis and the theories I use in this thesis.The first chapter: the concept of Balanced Scorecard and its evolutive history, introduce how to translate strategy into operation.The second chapter: analyze the possibility and the necessity of combining the BSC to hospitality industry of China. Also, the successful case of Hilton shows that we can widely combine the BSC to hospitality industry of China successfully.The third chapter: design how to combine the BSC to the hospitality industry of China, including the levels of BSC, the choices of the KPI, how to grade the BSC and the feedback, etc.The fourth chapter: because of my limit in theory and practice, there must be some deficiencies in this thesis. I'd like to pursue this after my graduation. The point is I will work hard to make this theory widely used and to enhance the competition ability of the hospitality industry of China.
