International electronic commerce is a new and developing concept. Its signification is the operation of international trade by electrical means. As a fully new economy mode, international electronic commerce has shown the powerful strength and it takes on competitive situations in the whole world. Meanwhile it has caused a profound impact on the changes of global economy status and traditional trade mode.This paper introduces Coase theorem and Williamson' s transaction cost economics to international electronic commerce. In addition, this paper recommends transaction cost theory and analyzes the reason why international electronic commerce can reduce transaction cost.In succession, this paper expounds and analyzes in detail that the application of electronic commerce in international trade area can increase revenue and discusses the other impact of electronic commerce on international trade, such as unifying international market, changing means of international trade, rebuilding operation body of international, saving transaction cost, increasing revenues, improving efficiency, enlarging trading opportunities and raising the enterprise' flexibility to market and competition and so on. The international electronic commerce with incomparable advantages compared to the traditional international trade becomes an inevitable trend of international trade in the future.At end this paper has presented tactics and suggestions about development of our international electronic commerce frommacroscopical and microscopical aspect, based on analyzing impact of electronic commerce on international trade and expounding our international electronic commerce' s operational situation.
