Banking also faces a lot of problems in the thin profit age, such as the competition turns worse, risks increase, gap between deposit and loan interest contract, scope of business is limited. The single method of payoff has hindered its healthy development. In the future years, foreign capital banks in China will aim at profit and make use of their international influence, electron network and information technique, etc. to occupy Chinese infant intermediary business market. All of these make banks think highly of intermediary business, which has no capital request, highly service, high profit and low risk, as never before. Bring forth new ideas in intermediary business and develop it has very important strategy meaning to Chinese banking.The business of the modern commercial bank is divided into three big classes mainly: the business of debt, the business of the assets and intermediate business . The intermediate business products are a great key of survival and development of commercial bank, it is the financial service provided for customer on the basis of debt business and assets business, refers to the commercial bank participate in the trade activity not as one party of credit activity, but as the go-between, and it do not use or use little one's own assets, utilize its advantage in such aspects as technology , information, organization's network, prestige, handle the item of consulting , acting as agent, trusting and assuring etc for customers, and offer the paid service between two parties of business as the intermediary, mediacy, agent, it is the sign of financial modernization and commercial bank's modernization.
