With the accelerating of China's market-orientated economic reform, the buyer market pattern has appeared. Market restrictions are increasing quickly. But commercial firms' reform can't keep up with the changes of market environment. First, Commercial firms are not well organized, benefits from the scale of economy don't appeared effectively, market competition power is still lower. Second, the commercial firms still lack a perfect market entry regulation, Circulation order is often in chaos, this usually leads to over-competition. Third, commercial firms are still facing the problems of lower level of management, short supply of talent, and hard to survive.China's automobile spare parts industry has a very good prospect in the future. But the market system of the automobile spare parts industry is still in development. The market situation is not satisfactory. The counterfeit goods are not rare. The competition is still in disorder. A number of distributors of the automobile spare parts, especially the formal distributors, are put into an awkward predicament. This situation would be a serious restriction on the development of automobile industry, harm the benefits of public consumers, waste the limited resources, and exert a negative influence on the whole economy.China's entry into WTO was really a great shock to the automobile spare parts industry. Facing the serious market situation and increasing competition, the firms of automobile spare parts must make a strategic choice. This thesis illustrate the largest distributor of automobile spare parts, DND, which is also the most typical firm in Henan Province as an example to discuss its development strategy.Based on the investigation into the current situation of DND, this thesis proposes an operation mode and a management mode respectively in the automobile spare parts market. The main features of the operation mode are: integration operation, chain operation, scale operation. The main feature of the management mode is: business association. This business association should exert an important role in coordinating therelationships among the different business firms, between the government departments and business firms, between the business firms and business association. Furthermore, this thesis, from the perspective of strategic management, deeply discusses the circulation mechanism reconstruction in order to promote the development of whole automobile industry and enhance the circulation efficiency of automobile spare parts. This thesis also makes a systematic thinking about the development strategy of after-sale repair services.One of the innovations of this thesis is how to reorganize the automobile spare parts market and rectify its development strategy. Another innovation means that the automobile spare parts market should adopt the mode of chain operation. The above considerations have been put into effect in my company and have got preliminary and good results.
