Inveigling investigation is the application of inveigling strategy in detection. It has been accepted by a lot of countries' legislation. In practice, inveigling investigation is a kind of investigation action which is adopted extensively. However, it is full of controversy at the same time .Although foreign academia began to study it long ago, our country criminal investigation theory study is still a new field .Recently many interrelated theses on inveigling investigation were published, while relative to the extensive application in practice the research about it is too little. The absent of legislation makes inveigling investigation more embarrass. Though it has the reputation of inveigling innocent people into crime and is objected by many of jurist who especially highlights safe guarding human rights. But we can't deny that inveigling investigation plays an important role in detecting major cases and safeguarding public security.In the first part, this thesis researches the concept, characteristic and categorization about inveigling investigation all over the world. In the second part, this thesis analyzes and discusses the legal validity and reasonableness from the view of legal theory and the legal consequence. In the third part, this thesis discusses the right remedy of criminal suspect and the legal responsibility of inveigler. In the last two parts, through the concise reviewing and inspecting to correlative legislation in the representative countries of Anglo -American law system and continental law system, this thesis connects with the current situation in our country, puts forward to how to construct the inveigling investigation legal system of our country in order to strengthen legal regulations and make it play more and more important part under the basic frame of safeguarding the fundamental human rights.
