From The Strengthening Of Corporate Governance Perspective On The Corporate Social Responsibility

The theory of Corporate Social Responsibility, originating from America in 1920s to 1930s, is an important theory involves quiet a few academic fields, law, economics and management, for example. It aims to relieve and even to solve various social problems, such as child labor and environmental deterioration, so as to relax the relationship between a company and the society, and therefore construct a better and more harmonious society.Along with the establishment of the ideology of social interests standard, the principle of shareholder benefit supreme under the traditional law of corporation is being challenged, and the pursuit of shareholder benefits is no longer the sole goal of a company. It's a mainstream viewpoint that a company should simultaneously value and promote other interests and correspondently shoulder social responsibilities. China's new Company Law also explicitly provides corporate social responsibility, and, aiming to turn the theory of corporate social responsibility into realities, what is vital at the moment is to search for proper approaches to enhance such a responsibility, which is the exact purpose of writing the present paper. From the angle of improving the internal management structure of a company, this article elaborates the ways to enhance the social responsibility of a company. As among the various stakeholders of a company, the company staff is one of the most significant parties and, in realizing the social responsibility of a company, it's undoubtedly a key point to get a betterment of the system of the staff's participation in the management of a company.
