Economic globalization is the most basic feature of contemporary worldwide economic development, which is greatly changing the economy, politics, culture and social life styles in each country of the world. After its entry into WTO, China will participate in the economic globalization process both in a wider range and to a deeper degree as this process is an unavoidable and objective trend for the world economic development. What matters is to take this trend into account in a dialectical approach, that is, both its advantages and disadvantages should be considered. Under this background, the economic globalization brings about new development opportunities to every country in the world , China in particular, and brings austere challenges to the ideological political education as well. The trend of ideological political education in the 21st century and its interactive relationship with the economic globalization in China is a key subject in theory and practice for us. Therefore, we must keep pace with the times based on the characteristics of the era and the thought changes of the people, and build up innovative systems for ideological political education suitable for the economic globalization to quicken social progress and full development of human beings.Economic globalization is the global expansion and connections of economic activities, the global share and optimization of capitals, resources, information and trade, and it is also the economic trend and historic process of commodities and service, capital circulation, technological information spreading, consumption and productive activities, which are more closely related to each other become more interdependent.
