Wto Labor Standards And Labor Legislation Is Perfect

Labour standard issue which involves many aspects is one of the most important issues in the world at present. Labor standard and international trade are interwoven at the background of the trade liberalization and labour standard issue is paid more attention form many angles. WTO is the global organization that coordinates trade rules between different countries while labour standard issue is regarded as one of the challenges in the development of WTO in the future. Though different members in WTO have different ideas, the fact that labor standard goes into the area of WTO is reasonable and labor standard will go into the area of WTO one day. This paper elaborates three big problems which are relationship between labor standard and international trade, relationship between labor standard and WTO and consummation of our labour legal system, then gives some correlative opinion and proposals.This paper consists of four chapters. Chapter one introduces the basic conception of labor standard first, then explains and analyses labor standard by expounding its legal souses and significance. Chapter two analyses the coordination and the conflict between labor standard and international trade, standpoints of different countries and gambling analysis. Chapter three reviews the development of labor standard then analyses three aspects which are jurisdiction of WTO, the relationship between labor standard and international trade outside WTO system and the formulation of WTO's rules. All these mean Labor standard will go into the area of WTO one day. From these three aspects, which are the economic globalization, the disadvantage of ILO and the same benefit of developed countries and developing countries, we can see the fact that labor standard go into the area of WTO is reasonable. And the last, I give some opinion about labor standard going into the area of WTO. Chapter four weshould adapt our labour law to labor standard, consummate our labour legal system and strengthen the protection of labour. The measures contain consummating the legislation of labour law, strengthening the enforcement of labour law and improving the relief measures of labour rights.
