The ethnic group's right to receive education has gradually been attention. To discuss the protection of the ethnic group's receiving educational right, this would help us to specialize and deepen the study on the issue. Due to historical, natural condition and realistic matters, the ethnic groups educational level is severally restricted its development. Up to this present, any law or statute about the ethnic group's education hasn't been made by the central government. This fall short of the request of a country protecting the ethnic group's receiving educational right.This dissertation (from theoretic and practicing visual angle) studied by mixed methods, including field work, comparisons and contrast research of cross disciplines, law annotation and so on. And that, probe into perfecting the protection of the ethnic group's receiving educational right by law.The dissertation consists of one introduction and four chapters. The introduction gives a general idea of this dissertation's significance, interrelated study development and train of thought on the issue, main viewpoints and methods in the study, and also tells the innovations and insufficiencies of the dissertation.The first chapter is the general theory of the ethnic group's receiving educational right. First, it studied on the receiving educational right and the ethnic group's education, defining the ethnic group's receiving educational right, on the base of this, set forth the character, content and history development of the ethnic group's receiving educational right. Especially content and history development (from Qing dynasty to China1978) of the ethnic group's receiving educational right. All of this will offer theory to protect the ethnic group's receiving educational right in act.The second chapter is the status of the ethnic group's receiving educational right. Through the comparisons and contrast research of thestatus of the ethnic group's receiving educational right living in Zhaotong city and Nujiang in Yunnan province (mostly using of the Stat data) , to discover the problem that the ethnic group's education are facing, this including the lacking outlay of education and teachers and so on. All of this is draggling the ethnic group's education. Through such analyzing, will make people know the status of the ethnic group's education sufficiently.The third chapter is the protection of the ethnic group's receiving educational right by some countries. At first, introduce the protection in China and Taiwan Area; then, in foreign countries such as The United State and Canada. Through such intense contrast, discovered that our country's protection measures on ethnic group's receiving educational right is not sufficient. Knowing this and taking use of good measures that other countries carry out. It would be helpful for our country to institute law or policy.The forth chapter is the proposal of perfecting the protection on the ethnic group's receiving educational right. It mostly focused on the important problems which must be resolved, lodging the author's opinions. Expecting offer some reference for making the law or policy about the ethnic group's education.
