Consumers The Right To Security Protection

The paper is based on the protection of consumers' safety rights and states it systematically from three perspectives. Firstly, the paper introduces the connotation of consumption safety centered on safety, and probes into the contents and characteristics of consumers' safety rights. The analysis of the necessity of defending consumers' safety rights is emphasized. Secondly, the paper presents in detail the regulations on the defense of consumers' safety rights in China and major capitalist countries in the world. Great attention is paid to the contrast so as to find out the drawbacks in China and, then, learn from the foreign countries. Finally, the paper concentrates on the problems that are to be solved in defending the safety rights of consumers. In this part it goes from the following two aspects: country and society. It is proposed that the country should play a leading role in realizing the defense, and the realization requires the construction of a better social environment. Only if the two aspects combine and complement each other can the principle in the Constitution on basic human rights be put into effect and the construction of consumption safety system be ensured.
