Research On Protection Of Consumers’ Rights For Food Safety Issues

Within the continuous improvement of Chinese economic strength, the accidents of food security occur frequently. It makes damage to consumers’ rights of security, health and property, destroying the ordered environment of food markets. These have negative effects on the construction of harmonious society. In recent years, Chinese legal system and food supervision system are gradually developed and perfected. Improving relevant system of laws and regulations of food safety has great realistic necessity to the effective protection of the rights and interests of consumers.The background of research, significance of the thesis, research status,main content and innovation points are introduced in the first chapter. By using research technique of literature analysis and case analysis, domestic and foreign legislation of food security, a series of policy and suggestion of protection for the rights of food consumers made by scholar are compared and analyzed. In the second chapter, the infringements of food consumers’ rights of safety guarantee, possession and compensation by food safety problem are further introduced. By analyzing the negative effects on people’s lives made by food security problem,the reality and necessity of protection for rights of food consumers are proposed. During the third chapter,relevant systems and measures for protection of consumer food safety are compared by the aspects of organized construction, safety and security protection system, protection of right to be conformed and getting compensation. The foreign experience to our country’s enlightenment is put forward. In the fourth chapter, current situation of domestic law of food safety is introduced. By elaborating the relevant system of protection for food consumer rights,the deficiencies of domestic current laws and regulations are proposed. By the description in the fifth chapter, the system of food consumer security protection, rights to be informed and compensation protection should be improved by legislators. The government should strengthen the social supervision protection system to perfect the construction of system of food consumer rights protection, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers,and make the people oriented policy requirements achieved.
