Comparative Study Of Consumer Safety Rights In China And Korea Consumer Protection Law

The consumer environment at present is changing rapidly and variously. Manyconsumer products are producing and its related consumer problems are rapidly increasing.Especially in the21st century, the consumer safety emerged as the topic of consumerproblem, and furthermore e-commerce becomes a typical consumer issue due to thepopularization of the Internet. These changes in the consumer environment brought a changein consumer’s attitudes. Old customers were the object of the protection, but now they arereplacing as supreme rulers who lead the transformation and monitoring of the market.Recently Chinese consumers are requesting the obvious safety and the high quality whenleading consumption life with insight and awareness of spending. However concern and carefor the Venture Society is increasing day by day as accidents or troubles are endless due tothe production seeking blind spot that the scope of the law does not reach skillfully and thelegal system lacking in action or effectiveness to the seller.The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of the laws and institutions onChina’s security to the consumer safety and create solutions and then complete more perfectlegal framework. The main contents to study in this body are as follows. First, learn thebasics taking a look at definitions and features of the consumer safety rights established in thelaw and the infringement field of the major safety rights, and compare macroscopically thelaw-making conditions for the consumer safety in South Korea, China and other developedcountries. Then we find out the problems and the lack of China by comparing and analyzingmicroscopically the law-making conditions in the field of food, drugs, cosmetics and e-commerce in South Korea and China. Furthermore we find an appropriate solution byproviding the related experiences of South Korea as a reference. We would like to meet theintent of this paper through these study processes.
