On The Spirit Of Our Society Is Harmonious

Realizing social harmony is our party's political concept and ruling goal, owning harmonious life is the broad masses'happy wish and unremitting pursue. Social harmony is the harmony both of social material life order and of society's spiritual life; only the mutualism of the two could achieve a real harmonious society. So for constructing a harmonious socialist society, we should pay great attention to constructing a harmonious social order in material life, the same time, we could not ignore constructing a harmonious social spirit life. Because the production of social matter material is foundation of all social activities, also is the premise of social spiritual life, so always we focus more on the former than the latter whether in practice or in theory. With the fact that the existence ability of human being enhances continuously on the material level, the significance of spirit life is increasingly convex now, and the harmony of social spirit life have a further prominent position. Then, studying and exploring social spirit harmony has important and profound meaning to set up harmonious society.In this paper, based on the basic principles of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, made use of the dialectical method, historical method and the method of applying theory to reality, the attempt has been made to research on the question on our country society's spirit harmony, but the research is shallow. After making a basic definition and initial analysis of the concept implication of"spirit"and"spiritual"harmony, the author explained the composition, feature and function of social spirit harmony in a general sense, then apply theory to reality to analyse the situation of our society's spirit harmony, and give the proposal on how to cultivate social spirit harmony.As the relative concept of"material", spirit is a description and localization to person's subjective state of existence, spirit refers to the active process and state of consciousness, psychology, emotion, will, idea, belief, value and so on, that is intrinsic to person. The spirit subordinates to the matter, and has simultaneous reaction to matter. The spirit belongs to person, and person's spirit must display for individual spirit, the spirit of community group spirit, and social spirit at the three level of individual-group-society. The spirit has characteristics of mobility and activity, time and nation, subjectivity and objectivity. Generally speaking, spiritual harmony refers to the benign spiritual development condition of person's spiritual activity, which is healthy, coordinated, balanced, stable and orderly. While the spirit has different form performance as individual spirit, the spirit of community groups and social spirit, then in a general sense, spirit harmony will also include the individual spirit harmony, group spirit harmony and social spirit harmony. The social spirit harmony refers to the multiple complementary and the diverse unification of individuals, groups and society in value, and the entire society sets up the leading and guiding of core values in the spiritual interaction of whole society, positively coordinates contradictions and conflicts between diverse value to enable the overall spiritual life to tend to the balance, stably, the auspicious benign society spiritual life condition.Society's spiritual harmony takes the individual spirit harmony as a foundation, takes the group spirit harmony as a strut, and takes the social spirit harmony as the centre of gravity. Social spirit harmony is the symbol of Society's spiritual harmony. The characteristic of Society's spiritual harmony manifests in the dialectical unification of the respecting, tolerating diverse concept of value and leading, guiding by the core value. The function of social spirit harmony is mainly integrating function, concentrating function and powering function.Now China is in a special integrated period that social spirit is increasingly harmonious, the overall feature of this period is: overall integration of values along with construction of core value; tolerance, identification and fusion between diverse value intertwining with benign conflict among them. Although the overall spiritual harmony has taken a initial shape, there is still some disharmonious factors. The author briefly analysed the disharmonious factors and the reason of it.To cultivate Society's spiritual harmony, first we should implement individual spirit harmony education, using spiritual pursue education, belief education and moral development education and so on, promotes person's thought, psychology, emotion to develop harmoniously. Next, group spirit harmony is the strut of society's spiritual harmony; we should establish fair and reasonable institution system and construct the spiritual community to promote spiritual harmony in-group. Finally, depends on the socialism core value system, by setting up social civilized mode, forming spirited and enterprising state of social spirit to build a harmonious social spirit environment. In brief, a harmonious society is organic unification of the harmony of social material life order and the harmony of social spirit, and cultivating a society's spiritual harmony is in the topic of constructing a harmonious society. With taking economic construction as the central task, vigorously developing productive forces Since reform and opening up, China also has made considerable progress and development in the field of building social spirit. At present, not only the social economy grows steadily, people's material life standard improves substantially, social justice gets more concerns, but also the situation of social spirit harmony strengthens day by day. Although there still are some disharmonious factors, society's spiritual harmony has become dominant trend. Sixth plenary session of 16th CPC Central Committee proposed to construct socialism core value system to form the spiritual bond of unification and the spiritual power to exert the whole nation upward, and said, with using the core value system leading ideological trend, we should respect difference, contain diversity, and expand social approval in respecting difference, promote ideological consensus in containing diversity, this indicate that society's spiritual harmony in China has initially had the shape, we have the reason and the confident to believe that the disharmonious factors will unceasingly be faced, resolved and reduced, the harmonious factors will be unceasingly increased, social spirit harmony and the overall social harmony will unceasingly be promoted and expanded.
