The reformation of medium-sized and small enterprises has finished and entered the post-epoch.The leaders of reformed-companies are becoming formidable groups.However, workers are being fringed and becoming feeble cirles.During the reformation of state enterprises,the trade unions are weakening.Although the policy of our nation strongly supported them,the weakening momentum couldn't be held back. In recent years,the labour conflicts caused by the businesses aggressed the workers' interests have emerged the upper trend. Many staff members urgently request the union safeguard their lawful rights and interests.Our party and government also wish the union bring into play the function of a bridge and unite the broad masses of workers following our party and arouse the enthusiasm,initiation and creativity of them.The labour union should undertake the duty for staff and give full scope to expressing and safeguarding of workers.But in real life the union often is at a loss what to do with the discord situation in front of the relation of labour.The research applied the theory of social conflict and the division of labour in society by Emile Durkhem to the article.By this way we can interpret the transformation of labour relationship in reformed companies.In the meanwhile,the article used the concept of a balancing mechanism to explain the function and status of the union in the reformed enterprises.Based the past researches in our nation,the article advanced the theoretical hypothesis,that is to say,after the enterprises reformed ,the labour union did not play a big role in spokesman of workers,and remained silence in the duty of safeguarding the rights and interests of workers.The article investigate five companies in Y city by applying the method of questionaire and interview. I acquaintanced 30 companies in Y city.Through analysing the investigation data,the upper hypothesis was proved.The union of reformed enterprises really was in the state of silence.The article approached the reason of the union function disorder from four angles such as system,structure,economy and thought.In the end of my article, I discussed the direct electoral system of the President of union and the system of collective negotiation in some area.The purpose of the article is to approach the function of the labour union in reformed enterprises during the process from bureaucratic interest group to market harmony of interests group.In practical significance,it provides the valuable reference for the labour union which improves its own cohesive force and provides the meaningful guidance for the labour union which transforms the conception in the maintenance of staff interests and rights.Meanwhile it gives backing to policymaker.The new ideas of the article is to advance a set of model that combine the collective bargaining from top to bottom with the direct election of the labour union from bottom to top.The model of the bidirectional process will be to resolve the problem that the labour union maintain the interests and rights of the workers.
