Secondary School In Qingdao City, Communist Youth League Work Problems And Countermeasures

The Chinese Communist Youth League is the basic organization of the Communist Party and the core organization of uniting, educating excellent middle school students. The League plays a very important role in the school's ethic education guiding, teaching and serving the students. However, more and more schools at present lay more emphasis on academic teaching rather than ethic education owing to a number of factors such as the more and more fierce social competition and the improper education evaluation system. Nowadays the academic accomplishments in many cases become the only standard for evaluating a student. The ethic education is regarded important but actually neglected. There is a widespread phenomenon: the academic teaching is strengthened and the students get more knowledge in the school but on the other hand, the students'moral level needs to be improved as the ethic education is weakened.To solve this problem, the Central Communist Party and the State Council put the issue of students'moral education high on the agenda. The age between 12-18 years old is an important stage for the development of a human being. Students at this age are establishing their faith, their ideology about value, life and society and they often have many problems. Middle school education is the key channel for students'moral education and the League serve important functions strengthening the ethic education. The issue of the article is how to change our concept and methods of ethic education.With a view to the ethic development of the students, We focus on the current situation and the existing problems of our league's operating mode, e.g. the ideology needing to be improved; the methods of ethic education being obsolete; the influence of the league being diminishing, the content of the moral education needing updating as well as the frequent election for the posts of the league.Based on the present achievements of ethic education study, We take the students out as the only researching target, focusing on how to improve the League's function to provide moral education for the development of the students, enrich the educational theory of middle school ethic education as well as provide practical methods for the students'moral education. This article may be of some assistance to the operation of our league and the young league staff.
