The passing and cnforcing of Law of the People's Republic of Chinaon Public Servants marks the establishment of institute of publicservants, the cores of the party pay great attention to the work ofidiological and political education, and carry a list of importantexpoundment. So, there is great theoretical and practicalsignificance to study the relative matters of the idiological andpolitical education of public servants.The first section sets forth the great meaning of the idiologicaland political education of public servants from fourfacets: improving the governing ability of the party, deepening thefight against corruption, constructing socialist harmonious societyand preventing thepeaceful evolution of west capitalism. At first,the work of idiological and political education of public servantsis the root of improvement of the governing ability of theparty; secondly, the work of idiological and political education ofpublic servants is the important substance of establishingscientific system of fighting against corruption; third, the work ofidioogical and political education of public servants is theimportant basic of building socialist harmonious society; fourth, thework of idiologicat and political education of public servants isthe great victorical guarantee of preventing the peaceful evolution.The second section mainly discusses the reality, facingchallengment and chance of the idiological and political educationof public servants. Firstly, there are four problemsin the idiologicaland political education of public servants: one is that some leaderdo not pay enough attention to the work of the idiological andpolitical education of public servants; the second is that the contentof idiological and political education is absent of the detectivecharacteristic; the third is that the style of education is moresimple; the fourth is shortage of the efficacious urging institute. Secondly, the idiological and political education ofpublic servants face four chances: he first is that the fastdevelopment of economy provides the forceful material base for theidiological and political education of public servants; the secondis that the perfection of adiminstration and the improvement ofquality provide good inter condition for the idiological andpolitical education of public servants; the third is that theincreasing open of idea of public servants provides new idea basefor the idiological and political education of public servants; thefourth is that the development of internet techonology provides newpropagating place. At last, the idiological and political educationof public servants faces three challenges:the negative influence ofmarket economy after entering the WTO, the negative affect of internetand the contemporary international situation.The third section expounds several advices to perfect theidiological and political education of public servants including theend, object, content of education and organizing and leading of theidiological and political education of public servants. Thedissertation holds that the end of education is making all publicservants posess the firm political direction, higher theoreticalaccomplishment and good moral character, trying hard to practiceMarxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory andimportant "Three Representatives" thought, totally carrying out thescientific development view, improving overally the ability of allpublic servants to lead the socialist modernization establishmentand build the socialist harmorious society, providing the guaranteeof organization and supportment of talent for the economical andsocial development., holds the object of education is all publicservants, the content of education includes the idea and beliefeducation, the education of important policies of the party, theeducation of world outlook, life outlook and values, the education ofpatriotism, collectivism and socialism, the education of social public morality, professional ethics and family virtues, and so on.The last section discusses mainly several relations that must bedealed with carefully in the idiological and politicl education ofpublic servants, including the relation between the work ofidiological and political educationof public servants andeconomicdevelopment, the relation between inheritance and bringingforth new ideas, the relation between content and form.
