From the angle of realism, this paper sums up all the achievements of "Look-east Policy" in the fields of politics, economics and security since it has been to be carried out. By reviewing India's foreign policies that have been implemented in different stages during the Cold War, I try to find out the changes in foreign policies, and at thesame time to discover the core thougts that have always been persisted. Game theory is an important theory of realism. After entering the ASEAN and the west Pacific Ocean, India will have to interact with other major powers in these areas. Sometimes this interaction looks like some kind of game playing. But the game playing not necessarily gets all the parties into trouble, if all the parties that have been involved in the game playing solve the problems prudently and properly, maybe it will bring about a new form to deal with inter-relations among different major powers.
