The Research On India’s Diplomacy On Myanmar In The Context Of The Look East Policy

India and Burma are traditional friendly countries, Since.the 1990’s India proposed the Look-East policy, India began to adjust the policy of neighboring Burma,andget the gradual peaceful relations. The political transformation of Burma after the2010 election of Burma has brought new opportunities to the development of the two countries. Given the above background, this paper first discusses the background and strategic reasons for the introduction of he Look-East policy. And then, the paper expounds the contents and features of India foreign policy in Burma underfrom three areas of political, economic and trade, security cooperation.Therefore,the paper discusses the new changes of India’s foreign policy after the Burma 2010 election.Finally the paper draws the conclusion: the purpose of adjustment background of the Look-East policy is safeguard and realize the national interests of India.and the overall diplomatic framework and regional diplomatic strategy is adjust the domestic and foreign environent which is constantly changing and developing.The continuous development of the relationship between India and Myanmar is still favorable to China from the perspective of regional stability and economic development, and there are still potential for cooperation between China and India. In this regard, China should face China and India in Myanmar’s strategic interests,actively respond to, dilute contradictions, to seek cooperation, and strive to develop relations with Burma and India, finally achieve a tripartite win-win, to ensure peace,stability and development in the region.
